Storytelling 

Follow the story that your teacher began. Each student has to come up with a way to continue with the story. 

"Yesterday, I was sitting in my living room, watching some TV, and then..."

Read the information on page 26. Do exercise 2. 

Work on THIS exercise with your classmates in break out rooms. 

 

Analyze the following sentences with your classmates:

Sara was going to buy tickets for the play, but they were sold out. 

Mike was on the verge of buying the book, and then he realized it was in Portuguese. He does not speak Portuguese!

- JK Rowling had no idea that his books would become such an iconic magical universe. 

Experts knew the book was to become such a hit. 

Which ones did happen? Which ones did not?

Work on exercises 3-4-5 from page 131. 

 

Teens Advanced: Storytelling 

Tell a story of something that happened to you or to someone close to you. 

Your anecdote should be told as a "short story".

Include: 

- Characters 

- A plot 

- An interesting dénouement (ending)

-  A cover your story could have 

- A title for the story

PS: the story won't be written, but you can write some ideas you want to mention. The story must be spoken.
